I once had a dream of lining my entire house with limited edition Halo 3 Game Fuel, but that dream died when I discovered a couple of cavities. This orange flavored soda concoction had a short life span, but a good one at that.
Halo 3 Game Fuel made its way to store shelves on August 13th, 2007 and departed 12 months later. To make its release known Mountain Dew and Halo 3 aired a 30 second Game Fuel commercial. Like the commercial hinted, this limited edition cherry-citrus flavored was drink was packed full of eye-opening-finger-smashing caffeine. In fact, Halo Game Fuel had 30% more caffeine than original Mountain Dew. No doubt about it, Halo Game Fuel kept new owners of Halo 3 playing all through the night.
There was a part 2 to this story however. For a short while this year Game Fuel made its way BACK onto shelves, but this time in a new graphic 16oz aluminum bottle. It quickly rose back to the top of favorite drinks for the millions of Halo fans everywhere, but, as with all things limited, Game Fuel once again vanished off shelves months later to became apart of history.
While this popular Halo 3 drink is no longer available in either 12oz cans or 16oz bottles, you can still find unopened cans and bottles for sale on eBay.
